I've been importing goods from India to the USA for 10 years. For small shipments, we typically use our supplier's courier accounts (or their freight forwarders) to get the best rates. But the customs brokerage part has always been a disaster. Duties and taxes are often billed to the wrong party, the importer of record is always listed as the courier themselves (Fedex/UPS) instead of my company. HTS codes and duties are often incorrect. Now we have a bunch of duty refunds that are owed to us by US CBP, but since the IOR was listed as the couriers, THEY will be receiving the refunds instead of us. Has anyone successfully renewed their US passport by mail in India in the last year? In May 2025, the consulates started using a different courier than Blue Dart. When I went to one of that couriers' offices today, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Ordered from Bubblefarm in late March for around ₹1.7k. I forgot about it for a bit, checked later, and the courier tracking shows the shipment was cancelled by the seller in early April.
