I recently applied for a reissuance of my oci after I turned 20 and obtained a new passport. I applied at Washington DC embassy. Travel date to India December 17th. You don't have to send a return label if you are okay with USPS grounds (2-5 day shipping time) it is included in the cost of vfs service. If you have upcoming travel plans I recommend communicating that with embassy as they can process your application quickly. I had the worst nightmare with Mr. Pawan Kumar Tulsian from Avika Retails Store, Nehru Place, New Delhi. I bought an Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC from him. Here are the list of problems I faced : 1- He said he will give the card at Rs.160,299 TOTAL, but later added a hidden Rs. 2000 "shipping charges" in the name of PayU gateway fee during checkout. 2-BEWARE - PayU (card payment gateway) takes only 2%+GST for domestic debit card, but the store has added 3.54%. I understand that customs clearance can sometimes take time, so that delay was acceptable — but the real issue was the extremely **poor communication and tracking updates**. UPS didn't provide timely notifications during the customs process. I had to repeatedly check **ECCS** myself to know the status because UPS tracking wasn’t updated.
