I applied for a Croatia Visa. My appointment was on March 19 at VFS Mumbai (BKC). Croatia has limited points in India for some reason. For 40 days no update. I followed up twice with the Ministry. I was applying for a Business visa. I had my Croatian client mail them in Croatian. Two days later I got an update that it was ready and dispatched. Not sure they're linked. Online forums say use passport no or reference number (without the first three to six characters, or without slash) in Bluedart for tracking. None of that worked for me. I'm an importer in the US and we use Fedex and UPS for smaller shipments coming from India. We are listed on the C.I.s as the buyer/importer, but I just realized that the couriers are processing all of the imports with their own company as the IOR (Fedex or UPS). One reason this is an issue: The illegal Trump duties that we paid to Fedex and UPS are going to be paid back to the couriers instead of to us, and who knows if we'll ever see that money again. I've spent 10 hours on the phone with UPS and Fedex support trying to figure out how to get them to use our customs bond and list us as the IOR, but I can't get anyone with half a brain to advise me.
