Latest Community Discussions About Ondot Courier ShipmentRequest for help: bringing parcel to India Post office14h agoHi all! Unusual request incoming :). I traveled in northeast (Arunachal and Meghalaya) last year and at the end of my trip tried shipping a parcel with Arunachal handicraft, from Shillong post office to my home in Netherlands. However, the customs in didn't accept it (terrible paperwork process), so they shipped it back to the homestay I was staying at. However, I had already left once it was shipped back. I don't want to go through the process of international shipment again with a risk of throwing €70 away for a failed shipment, so instead of that I want to ship the parcel to my friend in Bangalore and then take it in my luggage next time I visit him. The issue is that the... Why can't we shift bus depots to on top of railway platforms for efficient land use at howrah stn?17h agoRailway lands in kolkata are really used inefficiently and have soo many ways to monetize assets only if they hired good planners to plan out their infrastructure. For example at howrah station, the bus depot right next to the railway station which is occupying a parcel of land at the entrance of the howrah bridge which could be considered one of the most prime areas in eastern india. If we simply shift that bus depot to on top of the massive area that platforms and railway tracks cover, we could solve for - bus drop-off and pickup areas - taxi pickup and drop off areas - private car pickup and drop off areas This would convert the front of the station into a massive public... My friends have used Garudavega, but that was to US and I have also heard about people using India post with reliable deliveries. Are there any other companies that do similar services here? Mumbai’s Richest Candidates for BMC Polls 2026: A Look into Their Backgrounds1d ago**BMC Polls 2026:** As Mumbai heads towards the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, affidavits filed by candidates reveal a sharp contrast between the city’s wealthiest contenders and those with modest means. Importing VKB Joystick for Flight Simulators in India – My Experience2d agoHello everyone, Sharing my recent experience importing a **VKB joystick** into India. Skye Air Mobility and other leaders have confirmed that 2026 marks the transition to drones as critical urban infrastructure. * **Focus:** Moving from experimental pilots to fixed, predictable delivery routes in Tier 1 cities. * **Scale:** Regulatory clarity in India is now allowing for thousands of commercial flights rather than isolated tests. * **Utility:** Intra-city logistics for healthcare and e-commerce are the first major sectors seeing daily deployment. India missed the first wave of global AI infrastructure, but we are currently leading in the application of drone logistics. As urban congestion in cities like... Has anyone successfully sent food parcels to India?3d agoMoving from Yorkshire to Mumbai in two weeks and am looking for a solution to get my British favourites out in India. Unfortunately, no British shops in Mumbai, so can't get my hands on any of the stuff I'm looking for, apart from a few baked beans tins here and there. Lots of people have advised the expat shops from Britain that specialise in this stuff, but the prices are astronomical - we're talking £3.00 per crunchie bar, £25.00 for a bottle of Vimto. When I read about people who have tried posting, a lot of the time its potluck whether it arrives or not. As far as I can tell, tarrifs are 30% on British goods entering India, going down to 0% over the next decad... I've got Greek coins aplenty! Some are sold but most still available. Prices are based off auction results, and I've tried to beat Vcoins and eBay prices. If anything's off, let me know! I'm happy to negotiate. One more note: some coins (especially the Seleucids) have artificial patina. And though I've done my best on all IDs, there's a chance something's not right. Kia EV2 launched globally4d agoIs this the spied Kia Syros EV in India? 4060mm in length, looks to have fixed the issues in ICE version * Fixed tail lights and headlights issue * Parcel tray is now useful * Looks better and reduced black cladding EDIT : Unveiled, not launched As a man, wanted to post my thoughts on this.4d agoI always used to have this argument with my years long girlfriend. She used to say that no guy can love a girl more than her dad does, which is true. But on the other hand, I can say that maybe no girl can love a man as much as his mom loves him, because there are many instances where my mom sacrificed her happiness for me. And in many of those instances, if I had a wife or girlfriend, then 99% of the time she wouldn’t have made that sacrifice, not because of lack of love, but because that love is conditional. One thing that people don’t realize is that a husband wife relationship is a conditional relationship, where both people are expected to put in effort. Their love can reach a poi... DHL is asking for ID proof of the recipient, is it necessary?4d agoSo I’m trying to send a gift to Indonesia from India and when I fill up the form(online) they ask the recipient ID proof as well, is it necessary? If I skip that part will they not deliver the parcel? The thing is the person I’m sending the gift to is not gonna be in the given address for some personal reasons and so we’re using their relative’s house address, but we’re scared that if we don’t put the ID proof they’ll not hand over the parcel. Let’s say we put their name and ID proof, but when the delivery guy comes to deliver in the relative’s house and different person receives it, will it work? Or are they gonna take it back? It’s our first time doing it and we’re... active proxy to ship a parcel from china to india5d agoNeed a proxy to get item only available in china Dirty highway restrooms are the real issue — exploring a clean rest stop on NH169 Karnataka (looking for a co-founder ...5d agoAnyone who travels Indian highways regularly knows this: food is manageable, but highway restrooms are almost always unusable. For families, women travelers, elderly people, and tourists, dirty, poorly maintained restrooms are often the single biggest reason to avoid stopping, even if the food looks decent. I’m exploring a way to solve this problem first, with food as the supporting layer. Starting point: I have access to a 2-acre highway-facing land parcel on NH169 (Shimoga–Thirthahalli stretch), India.
