Latest Community Discussions About India Post ShipmentHelpful Apps for syncing Huawei Matepad 11.5 2025 with Windows 11 Non-Huawei Laptop6h agoCan we make a post where we have all the softwares that are useful for new Huawei users like me. As Google apps are not allowed I faced a lot of problems as I require a lot of those apps. I also own iPhone 11 so I need apps that can sync these devices with minimal efforts, please help me through the same. I really need to sync the notes app to other devices aswell as I am a student and I make notes on it and would be really helpful if I can sync it, or should I use some other app that can sync seamlessly. One more thing, I imported Matepad from UAE and I am based in India(more problematic). Please help out a brother in need. Also you guys can name other useful apps aswell. India’s dating scene is “booming” — is Chennai an exception?6h agoSaw a post saying India is now a top global dating destination. As someone living in Chennai and single for a while… I’m not sure I got the memo. Tried apps, tried meeting people offline. Most things fizzle out or never go beyond small talk. Feels like everyone’s busy, cautious, or already taken. Not ranting — just curious if others here feel the same, or if I’m doing something wrong. Open to perspectives. DMs open for genuine conversation. I'm curious what you would like to do in India if you're retiring a little early (if in 50s) or quite early (30-40s). I am in the 8th semester, don't know DSA and need a good paying tech job due to sudden change in financial conditio...6h agoI was planning to do a masters abroad immediately after finishing my final year of B Tech (tier 3). However due to my dad passing in december it is not financially possible anymore. How can I prepare for tech jobs now is the question. I already have two on campus offers from mass hiring companies (4.5 and 3.6 lpa) that I sat in just for the experience. I haven't done any LeetCode and have only a surface level understanding of DSA. Every on campus company seems to ask DSA in the coding rounds. Will it be possible to finish DSA in time for campus placements or should I just try off campus after my degree ? Or should I just accept the offer I currently have ? Thanks. Tried posting in r/de... My SBI ELITE application was earlier rejected because my full name didn’t fit in their system (character limit issue). Online reapply didn’t work and customer care had no clue. I mailed the nodal officer with PAN + Aadhaar explaining it’s a system issue, not eligibility. After manual verification and a call, the application got approved. I’ve done a DevOps internship at a cybersecurity startup and I’m currently interning as an SRE at a US-based startup, yet landing a full-time role feels insanely hard. I’ve been applying everywhere and cold mailing nonstop. Posting here as a last shot since there are many seniors, CTOs, and founders around. If anyone has leads, referrals, or even advice, it would really help. Thanks for reading. Seeking honest feedback: GMAT Online under Talview – users sharing post‑transition experiences?7h agoI’m considering taking the GMAT Online, but I’ve come across a lot of mixed (mostly negative) feedback, especially after the recent switch from Examity to Talview in July 2025. Before I commit, I’d love to hear from anyone who has taken the test recently under the new system. **Some key context:** * My mock scores (third-party) have been consistently **735+**. * I’ve seen people say GMAT Online sometimes cancels or flags **very high scores**, especially if taken at home. * Is this true? Has anyone here had a **high GMAT Online score canceled** or placed under review unfairly? **Also would love to hear about your experience with the new Talview platform:** * How was the *... Chimes ICPP Screening Round – What Are They Actually Looking For? (Aspiring Pilot, 15M)7h agoHi everyone, I’m a **15-year-old aspiring pilot (15M)** currently in **Class 9**, doing well academically (ik marks in 9th-10th doesn't matters much), and I’ve spent the last year seriously researching different pilot training pathways in India. After comparing conventional CPL vs cadet programs, I had finally settled on **Chimes ICPP** as my long-term goal because: * It fits my **budget** better (with \~20–30% loan) * It offers a **structured airline-aligned path** * I don’t want to go through the conventional CPL route if I can avoid it However, recently I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion about **rejections at the Chimes screening round**, and it’s honestly a bit di... A native's answer to why driving in Bangalore has become so terrible now.7h agoI've seen a lot of posts about Bangalore's traffic problems. People driving like crazy and honestly, I'm tired of these posts. I'm starting to think of maybe even make a series of posts like this focusing on various issues. There are multiple causes to this. People have gone crazy post Covid. I used to drive around Bangalore before Covid, and I did not face a lot of issues. I lived in West Bangalore all my life, and people actually drove like sane people here. Post Covid, driving has become horrible and unmanageable. 1. Driving has definitely become worse after Covid. People have lost it in themselves. This phenomenon is observed worldwide and not unique to Bangalore or... Whay can't Indian comics come up with original stuff7h agoThis isnt a rant but a question for followers of the Indian stand‑up scene. Whenever I watch sets from Indian comics a pattern emerges: the same topics, the same style of delivery, and sometimes even the same punchline formats. Jokes about parents, engineering, marriage pressure, Swiggy/Zomato, airport security, “Delhi vs Bangalore,” “my toxic ex,” etc. And even when someone does crowd work, it often feels like the same jokes about IT jobs or relationships on repeat. There are comics doing interesting stuff. Some storytellers, some dark‑comedy folks, some doing character-driven bits. But they seem to be the exception rather than the norm. **It makes me wonder**: Is it because... Rotoris - a case study in astro-turfing and fake support7h agoSo a few of us have been aware of how Rotoris has tried to create the illusion of popular support through a series of sock puppets. What is really interesting is that AI can track activity, categorise it, and identify bots. So, using Gemini Pro, I got it to analyse Rototis threads and identify the waves of activity - here is the report. # 1. The "Seeders" (Thread Creators) These accounts create the initial posts to spark conversation, often posing as curious newcomers or sceptics to invite engagement. * u/Prestigious_Hat6234: Created the thread *"Anyone else aware of Rotoris Monarch"* on r/MicrobrandWatches. * u/Chubby-Warrior: Created the thread *"Is this watch ... r/kollywood Weekly Discussion Thread7h agoWeekly post: Appreciation or recommendation of a non-Tamil movie you would like us all to watch.
