Latest Community Discussions About India Post ShipmentI deleted my post: “33M moving back to India for good after layoff. I am done”11h agoI am the person who wrote yesterday's post. I received so many encouraging messages, and the post got a lot of traction. However, I later saw the Hindustan Times using my words as clickbait twice in two different articles. I never wanted that kind of attention. I only wanted to ask fellow expats if their parents react the same way mine do. The community helped me realize that this behavior is just how parents cope with stress and anxiety. I learned that I should not worry if I cannot change someone else's behavior, even my parents. The Hindustan Times editors twisted my words and turned my story into a spectacle with this headline: *"Indian man's decision to return home ... just launched an App Blocker which allows you to unlock apps by moving/reading/writing. I posted yesterday about trans men from non-Western countries and noticed something interesting.11h agoI started my post with stating that I love all my trans brothers, but Western trans men will never be able to relate to us non-Western trans men and vice versa because of our different experiences, which makes me feel lonely. After that post I have to double down on that statement, unfortunately. Through the comments I got to learn about the situation in Russia, North Africa, Middle East, China, India, Malta, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Bosnia, Romania and who knows where else that I just forgot to mention. So many wonderful guys from all over the world gathered together to discuss topics I never see in these West-dominated spaces, but that are the daily reality of my (and many ot... Wait what !?11h agoCjp is become top social movement in india There new demand is to remove pm of the india Not Just Pretty: Stepwells, Tanks and the Hydrology of Power in Gujarat and Telangana11h ago## Hydrology and Going Beyond Oriental Despotism While the stepwells of Gujarat are rightfully renowned for their architectural finesse, what is often overshadowed in the public discourse is the functional purpose they served in the political economy of the region and how one finds similar, though not the same, processes undergirding such hydrological projects further south in the Deccan with its various polities. Unlike the polities of the Indo-Gangetic or coastal plains, a lot the lands here are relatively arid, receiving lesser rainfall as well as lacking perennial rivers. Therefore, pastoralism was a major mode of sustenance in these regions for a long time, and continues to be to a les... Polymarket Denies Mandatory KYC Plans for Main Platform Josh Stevens called The Information's report "false,&q...11h agoPolymarket moved quickly to deny reports that it plans to require identity verification across its main prediction market platform. The pushback came from Josh Stevens, Polymarket’s VP of Engineering, responding directly on X to a First Squawk post that read: “POLYMARKET WANTS TRADERS TO ID THEMSELVES AS IT FACES SANCTIONS, LEGAL RISKS.” The post cited a report from The Information. Stevens called the report “false” and provided a detailed clarification: Polymarket is launching a new beta product and allowing a select group of users to test it, with KYC required only during the beta period. “No KYC is being added to any part of existing polymarket.com with this launch,” Ste... Girl keeps hinting about abroad jobs11h agoI’m talking to a girl I met on matrimony. I work in IT in India and she’s preparing for IT jobs. She’s been very nice and our conversations have gone well, both on calls and in person. But one thing bothering me is that she keeps sending me IT job postings, and almost all of them are abroad. I’ve already hinted her few times that I don’t plan to move abroad anytime soon. I also directly asked her if she prefers someone working abroad, but she avoids giving a clear answer, maybe she would be worried how I would take it. Is this something worth taking seriously early on, or am I overthinking it? Has anyone shopped from theshortstore?11h agoI'm planning to buy shorts from this brand that makes plus size shorts, has anyone shopped from here? What if India had its own Prussia like uniter turned Caliphate?12h agoWARNING: This is all fiction meant to be interesting, not meant to have any real world political stance or provide commentary on reality; keep that in mind. Explanation: It's an alt-history scenario where a colonial maritime empire forms in eastern India (Bengal was historically the richest part of India), and seeks to unify Hindustan under a complex network of core territory, direct territory, semi-autonomous and Vassal. In the 1660s, a revolution turned it into an islamic caliphate (it's not meant to be overly violent towards non-muslims). In the 1800s, it started to liberalise and was pretty free by 1900. I've thought about its full history over the last year and come... I paid ₹50,000 to Simplilearn for the PMP® Exam Prep Course. I completed all 35 PDUs. I followed up repeatedly for help with the PMI application and exam scheduling. My assigned account manager was completely unresponsive for nearly a year. Support tickets were closed mid-conversation. I submitted my project list in their own template format. Nothing happened. No callback. No email. No live support that actually worked. By October I was mentally exhausted and stopped following up. That is what sustained neglect does to a person. \--- Here is the par... Through heartbreak and hope - Love SRH🧡12h agoOh god, it hurts to lose this From the start of the season theres been a lot of negativity around the team foreign signing debates, players celebrations getting over analysed, handshake issue, David bhai posts reigniting old controversies, even fake posts using Bhuvi's picture.. often felt like the team was in the spotlight for everything except just cricket But through all that, 9 wins out of 14 is still an exceptional effort. We had a few gaps and cracks sure but we stood toe to toe with the best balanced sides. That really says a lot about the skill and determination in this squad Our sub is kind of like SRHs batting either we post overly pessimistic, hopeless takes or we go full ... Stage 1, highly curable. The surgery went perfectly. Then everything collapsed in a single hour. After being shifted to the ward, he vomited. The vomit entered his lungs. He went into sudden cardiac arrest. His heart stopped. The doctors performed CPR and revived him. But his brain had spent several critical minutes without oxygen. He now has brain damage. He cannot breathe without machines. He cannot move. He cannot speak. Doctors have confirmed the damage cannot be operated on; only time and intensive care give any hope. **Here is who is left behind:** H... Health insurance checklist for India: what to check beyond premium12h agoDo not compare health insurance only by premium. The useful policy is the one that pays predictably when a large hospital bill arrives. In India, the biggest practical differences are room-rent limits, co-pay, disease-wise sub-limits, waiting periods, cashless hospital network, exclusions, consumables coverage, restoration rules and claim service quality. Prefer adequate cover, no room-rent cap, no mandatory co-pay, minimal sub-limits, clear pre-existing disease rules, good city-level hospital network, lifelong renewal and transparent claim documentation. A base plan plus a super top-up can be more efficient than buying only a very high base plan. **What to check:** · Sum ins...
