Complicated circumstances but here it is: I have a PIO that I need to convert to an OCI. One parent was born in post partition Pakistan, moved to India as a kid and was granted citizenship. Both parents and siblings have OCI’s . I recently applied for a tourist visa and had to answer yes to the Pakistani national question- and it has been pending for 2 months now. So, now I’m applying for the OCI but also have to write yes to the Pakistan national question. Will I be it? Will my siblings OCi be at risk ? How did they get it if these were the rules? What can I do to improve my chances ??
