I'm trying to understand the Hindu religion and came across this image and couldn't figure out the weapon or item that the arrow points to. As you can see there are (using common English terms) throwing discs, shells, tridents, axes, swords, bows etc, however this one escapes me. It is clearly not an axe (we have an example in this image), and we have other examples of axes with gods and goddesses in art and statues, but it seems to be some tool that is carried over the shoulder or alike.
