For You give man, glorious resurrection And you are the One who saves his Soul." (an Excerpt from the Syro-Malabar Holy Qurbana) Thank you so much all for attending and praying with us at the Syro-Malabar Catholic Holy Qurbana (Seventh Sunday of the Glorious Resurrection) 🙏❤️ Special thanks to Fr. Jinto Choondal from Kerala, India, Keralite Catholics, and San Isidro Labrador Parish (Taft Ave., Pasay) for their support and being our host parish. Updates for our next Holy Qurbana in June 2026 (Syro-Malankara Catholic rite) will be posted soon. Thank you! 20M | searching for friends or something more if things goes that way6h agoHello, tbh I don't know what to write here because that's the first time I am trying post for friendship or dating so pls don't mind that. A Brief intro about me: Iam a 20 yr old atheist guy (masculine), from India (going to Japan sooner), a cute twunk (because idk if I qualify as twink because I get a bit chubby right now). Iam light brown skinned, fluffy / curly hairs, huge eye sockets, oval face. Things I like: I love travelling although I have not travelled so far since childhood but has a dream to travel whole world, I like music (not kinda specific category just I can get attached to any music or song that has nice vibing), I love all seasons but most lovely is rain. ... OSM Can’t Silence Us💪🏻6h agoFirst of all — respect to every single student speaking up, protesting, documenting issues, signing petitions, showing up at India Gate, posting evidence, and refusing to stay silent. What’s happening right now is important, and people need to understand that students raising concerns about OSM are not “crying over marks.” They are questioning a system that directly affects futures, admissions, scholarships, confidence, and mental health. This movement already has strength. It already has reach. It already has people paying attention. But now it needs direction, structure, and stronger representation so that nobody can casually dismiss it as “online outrage.” The petition and ... I had initially thought of pursuing MSc HRD, but it doesn’t seem like the right fit anymore. A little about my interests : I'm very interested in the psychology field, I'm finishing my Bsc Psychology and Computer Science is my second major, I wanna get into research, money is a concern for me so I thought hrd is the best option but it's too corporate focused and I actually want a career in psychology. A lot of people suggested looking into GATE and Cognitive Science, and honestly, it sounds extremely interesting to me. I’m more drawn toward user psychology, human behavio... Just to clarify the post is not meant to offend or disrespect anyone’s beliefs. Chill out people! So lately I have been thinking about life here, in India. When I was younger, like in school-college, I used to think I will have a lot more fun, enjoyment when I grow up because I do not have the money to travel or live at some amazing place right now. But now, as I have a decently paying job, good company, can take decent amount of leaves, having a few good friends, still I am stuck in my flat all day, all weekends. The problem now is I cannot go out because it is ******* hot, like 9/12 months we literally cannot go... Weird interaction on reddit (image unrealated)6h agoSo i was talking to a girl from Germany yesterday, she was of the same age and she DM'd me after one of my post on r/teenagers. Everything was going well, until she asked Where I am from. I was kinda hesitant that her attitude would change after hearing that im from India (like most foreigners do). Now when i said Im 15M and from India, she ghosted me, didnt even say anything. I got pretty sad and then i just clicked at her account and saw that her account got banned! What do I even say now..... Is Research in India a good career option6h agoHey y’all, I made a post recently about what I should do next now that my bachelor’s is ending. I had initially thought of pursuing MSc HRD, but it doesn’t seem like the right fit anymore because most HRD courses in India seem too corporate-focused. A lot of people suggested looking into GATE and Cognitive Science, and honestly, it sounds extremely interesting to me. I’m more drawn toward user psychology, human behaviour, research, so Cognitive Science feels closer to what I actually want. But I’m still confused about the practical side of it. Does pursuing Cognitive Science through GATE have a proper career path in India? How is the field in terms of opportunities, pay, and rec... 👋 Welcome to r/OppositionIndia - Introduce Yourself and Read First!6h agoHey everyone! Welcome to r/OppositionIndia. The Cursed Diamond aka Hope Diamond.7h agoA diamond so beautiful… people started calling it cursed 💎☠️ The legendary Hope Diamond is one of the rarest blue gemstones ever discovered. Originally found in India, this mysterious diamond became famous not just for its beauty… but for the dark stories linked to almost every owner who possessed it 👀 Kings, queens, and wealthy collectors all owned it at some point — yet accidents, bankruptcy, and tragedies kept following its history. What makes it even rarer? Its deep blue color comes from a rare element called “Boron,” which makes it look completely different from normal diamonds 🔵✨ Save this carousel if you love mysterious gemstones. Copper plates from the Chola era, dating back to the 11th century, are being brought back to India from the Netherlands. I had the privilege of joining Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the event marking this occasion. The Chola-era copper plates consist of a collection of 21 large and 3 small plates. Most of the inscriptions on them are engraved in Tamil, one of the world's most beautiful languages. These plates formalize the promise that Emperor Rajendra Chola I received orally from his father, Rajaraja Chola I. Moreover, they proclaim the glory of the Cholas. As Indians, we take immense pride in the Cholas' culture and naval prowess. I express my g...
