What's going on with my package?

My 4-month-old kitten is sneezing since yesterday and he started drooling clear saliva for around 18 hours ago. However, he is still eating very well and seems excited about food. There are no mouth ulcers and no foamy saliva. I took him to a nearby vet and they diagnosed upper respiratory infection just by examining. No blood tests done yet.
